2030:

If we want to limit global warming to 1.5°C by the end of this century, we have some climate goals to reach before 2030. MONTHS UNTIL 2030: was created to make it easier for us to keep track of time.

MONTHS UNTIL 2030: is a countdown calendar — it will have one square less for every month that passes.

MONTHS:

MONTHS UNTIL 2030: was inspired by an Instagram post by Norwegian artist and climate activist Marte Wulff. In the post, she talks about how she has started counting months instead of years until 2030. This got me thinking! "Seven years" sounds like a long time. "75 months" doesn't sound quite as long — just think about how fast one month passes.

Ironically, it took six (!) months from the calendar idea was born until launch day on 1. October 2023. Life, exam, Easter, summer — all the things that stop us from noticing how quickly the months pass...
